We ran into a few technical problems with my host, so hopefully these should be resolved today and the new site up and running. Also most of you should have recieved our first issue of our Quarterly Magazine we are producing called Inspire. If you didn't get the issue we might have an old mailing address on file, please Contact Stagi Imagery so we can update our records. Also if you want to view the magazine in a PDF here is a link: Stagi Imagery's Inspire issue 1 -- Mark Posted 4/26/2006 at 11:13 AM |

We were planning on launching our new site today but got backed up this
week and weren't able to finish it on time. It should launch at
the start of next week and once it is live we will be adding some new
galleries to it over the next few weeks so check back for more
updates. The new website will be located at: http://www.fineartweddingphotography.com/ This site will have new images and a very contemporary look to it, I am pretty excited. Also it will utilize the newest version of flash so even though it is a flash based site it will load up very quick. More updates to come soon, Mark Posted 4/21/2006 at 11:9 PM |

Our first issue of our client Magazine has been finished and we just
got it back from the printers. This idea started out awhile ago
as a way to share some stories about the great weddings we get to
participate in and I have many more ideas on how to make this a
refreshing thing for everyone to read and get some great ideas.
Look for it in the mail sometime in the next week, if you have recently
moved or we don't have your address on file just fill out a contact
form here and we will add you to our mailing list: Contact Stagi Imagery In our first issue we highlight Jason and Valerie's wedding, give an intro into what we want to accomplish with the magazine, highlight Thirst Relief International (a great new charity) and give some tips on clothing for family portraits. We welcome any suggestions for new articles, just email them to me at mark@wedclix.com. -- Mark Posted 4/17/2006 at 8:18 PM |

We have had the same website for awhile now and it is time for a fresh, new look. Our new website is going to really rock, it will have a lot of fresh new images but also have a lot of cool things like sideshows of events. The week after a wedding a slide show will be uploaded to the site so the bride and groom and all of their family can view some of the images set to music. I am excited about the new site and it should be launching within the next few weeks. For now it is going to be on a new domain name and the old site will remain where it is. The new site is at: http://www.fineartweddingphotography.com/ I also thought it would be a good time to update the blog so also modified the color of the blog so it will match the new site a little better. -- Mark Posted 4/14/2006 at 8:59 PM |

Here are a few shots of Ferdie and Charmaine's Day of the two of them
right before we went into the ceremony. The ceremony was at the
Fairmont so we took some fun shots of the two of them together at a few
different spots right there around the hotel. The city made for a
great backdrop and they were a fun couple to shoot. Here are some
of the images, more will be online pretty soon: -- Mark Fine Art Wedding Photography Posted 4/13/2006 at 2:44 PM |

I am back from Vegas today and getting caught back up with
everything. Vegas was really great, I got a lot of good ideas out
of the photo sessions and really enjoyed my time there. We met a
lot of new photographers out there and also got to meet with a bunch of
our vendors we worth with but have never met in person. It is
always interesting to meet someone you have been emailing and talking
to over the phone for years and they always seem to be totally opposite
from what you would think. It was a really quick trip though and
I am happy to be away from the smoke filled casinos and back home. I will share some of what I learned on the trip and some new things we will be offering this year soon. -- Mark Posted 4/13/2006 at 2:34 PM |

They were married yesterday in San Jose at the Bethel Church with a
beautiful reception that followed at the Fairmont. The wedding
was awesome and everyone that attended were such a pleasure to work
with. They had a live band that kept everyone dancing all
night and a few of Charmaine's family members sang a few songs
during the ceremony, they are blessed with wonderful
voices. We got some really great images of the day and I will
post some up here during the week as I am working on them. I wish I could write more about their night but have to pack and get ready for WPPI! I will be heading out this afternoon for a few days of WPPI (wedding and portrait photographers international) I always look forward to this convention because you get to spend time learning from the best photographers in the world, and also get to meet thousands of other photographers from all over (Australia, Britain, many US states) and get to check out all of the new products that suppliers have like new kinds of wedding albums. We always come back feeling refreshed and inspired to create even better work for our clients. If any other photographers are going to be there and want to get together one day, give me a call. If anyone needs to reach me I will have my laptop and will be working in the evenings so just shoot me an email or call me on my cell 408-506-1509. Blessings, Mark Posted 4/9/2006 at 11:43 AM |

I posted the album earlier but wanted to post a few of my favorite
images from Kathy and Markku's wedding. Everything turned out
really great it is always hard to just pick a few that I like but here
are a couple that I really liked. One thing I am really looking
forward to this year is we are starting to branch out to new area's and
have a few weddings out of the state coming up. I have always
loved to travel and to shoot in a totally new enviornment is a very
creative challenge that I really feed off of and it inspires me
more. Here are a couple of shots of their day.. -- Mark Stagi Imagery Wedding Photography News Posted 4/9/2006 at 11:31 AM |

I finished up one more album yesterday for Markku and Kathy.
Their wedding was in Santa Monica at Shutters on the beach and was a
awesome location. The hotel is right on the beach pretty close to
the Santa Monica Pier. All of the people at the wedding were a
blast, everyone really had a good time at the reception. Even
though it sprinkled a little bit and was a pretty dark day, we still
got some good shots of them at the beach at the end of the day.
Check out the album layout here: Kathy and Markku's wedding album today we finally have sun in San Jose, hooray. I hope it will last awhile ![]() Enjoy, -- Mark Posted 4/6/2006 at 11:51 AM |

I finished another album recently for Jason and Valerie, they were a
great couple to work with and we had a blast with them. The
wedding was in San Jose and the ceremony was at a beautiful church near
downtown (five wounds church) it is a pretty big church with some
really beautiful detail inside. check out their album layout here: Jason and Valerie Magazine Style Wedding Album -- Mark Fine Art Wedding Photography Posted 4/5/2006 at 11:41 PM |

I have lived in Ca my entire life, born and raised in Santa Cruz, lived
there until I went to San Jose state when I was 20 and other than a
brief stay in Lake Tahoe (for a winter season to snowboard) I have
lived in Santa Cruz or San Jose my entire life. One thing I love
about the Bay Area is the weather, normally very warm and sunny, but
lately nothing but rain :( In march it rained in Santa Cruz 25 days and 22 days in San Jose breaking records from 1904! Today is another day of straight rain. Thankfully today I don't have any shoots only 2 albums to work on, so I can stay inside with the heater on and drink some nice warm coffee while I design and watch the rain. I think it is supposed to rain all week this week and then hope that things clear up and we don't see the rain again until December. Posted 4/4/2006 at 1:37 PM |

Now that the wedding season has started we are busy again creating and
designing albums. With a wedding album there are so many things
that go into the layout of the album, you want to make sure all of the
photo's work together and placement on the page is key since the
album should really tell the story of the day. I spend a lot of
time with the creation of each album to ensure that it really tells the
story of the day. I am almost done with our last few albums and
will post them online shortly. I did finish Clayton and Janelles album, you can check out this album here: Clayton and Janelle Magazine Style Album -- Mark Posted 4/4/2006 at 11:31 AM |
