I just wanted to wish everyone out there a happy and safe New Years! This year for me has been a huge year of change and expansion. The year just flew by and we were blessed with so many wonderful memories. Great weddings that we were a part of, families that let us capture their special moments and a wonderful vacation to visit some family in Europe. Reflecting back on the year, I thank God for all of the wonderful family and friends that we have. I know that 2007 is going to be a huge year for our business and I am so thankful for the opportunities to come. We are also looking at expanding into a larger retail space this next year and will need to be hiring on some office staff and help with post production. More on that to come in the next few months. I wish everyone a prosperous New Years!!!!! ![]() -- Mark Fine Art Wedding Photography Posted 12/31/2006 at 12:58 PM |

I haven't been posting much lately, just trying to finish up all of our loose ends before the year ends so we can start the new year fresh. I will try to post some images of what we have been up to soon, we have done some pretty fun shoots lately but haven't had time to post them. It has been a great year this year, pretty busy but I am almost caught up with all of our album design and all orders are fufilled so we can start the new year with a clean slate. --Mark Posted 12/21/2006 at 12:50 AM |

Since we are always getting asked what type of equipement we use I decided to put up a list of my faviorate gear. I will be adding to this list to make it more complete, but started with the most common question, what type of gear do we shoot with. Posted 12/18/2006 at 12:58 PM |
Here are a few more of the Merry Go Round Shots from Jeff and Gabbys wedding, these were so fun to shoot and I am glad that we stopped here for some photo's. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Mark Posted 12/16/2006 at 5:0 PM |

It looks like Adobe will be releasing a beta version of CS3 this friday! I hope this comes true since it should make a big speed difference in running photoshop on my Laptop (Mac Pro). Exclusive: Adobe Systems Inc. on friday will make available for download an early public beta of its next-generation graphics editor, Photoshop CS3, but will otherwise abstain from delivering pre-release copies of other Creative Suite 3.0 applications. Here is the link to the Apple Insider Article ***Update*** Looks like they announced that it will happen and be available Friday morning for download. You can download it if you have CS2 already (they require you input the serial number) from Adobe Labs site: http://labs.adobe.com/ Everyone have a great Friday! -- Mark Posted 12/14/2006 at 10:52 AM |

I thought I would post a few fun websites if anyone is looking for a place to take a break from work and play some mindless games. The first is Yeti sports, which is one of the coolest web games I have seen. You are a yeti (abdominal snowman) that get's to throw penguins and other animals around. ***Warning, can be a pretty big time waster, don't play at work*** :) http://www.yetisports.org/ Post your best score in the comments! See who can hit the pengiun the farthest. ![]() Also here is a site to find out what type of superhero you would be. I would be the Green Lantern, which I am not sure if that is a good thing or not but at least it didn't say superwoman You can click the link totake your own survey below. Your results: You are Green Lantern

I saw this on another blog and love these images so wanted to share the link with everyone. A bunch of photographers started doing shoots after the wedding day. Some brides don't know what to do with their dress once they wear it on the wedding day, they don't want to put it in a dress bag forever to be forgotten in the closet so they have a photo shoot doing all of the things they would have loved to do on the actual day but couldn't get the dress dirty. So they went underwater, in the sand, dirt, etc... all to get some cool images that you just can't get on your wedding day. Check the photo's out, some of the underwater one's are awesome: http://www.trashthedress.com/ If any of my past brides want to do a shoot like this let me know and we can set it up, I would love to do some fun shots. There are ton's of places around san jose we can go or even over to the beach in Santa Cruz. Contact me for more info -- Mark Posted 12/9/2006 at 5:57 PM |
