I was going to post some photos and updates from the line today at the apple store but the line inside was too long so I got stuck in the 2nd line outside of the mall (it actually worked out good, because it was a nice sunny day and got to hang out with some cool people), but since I was outside I was out of the wifi range and couldn't connect all day. So I ended up editing a few weddings until my battery went dead and then putting the laptop away. Finally after hours of waiting I got my iPhone around 6:45! It was pretty crazy how they had it setup and very efficient. All of the apple employees were yelling and clapping for everyone as you walked out with your iPhone it was like you were walking down the red carpet. Woz was also there all day with his crew (all rolling around on their segways, which I haven't seen since 1999). It ended up being a pretty fun day and the iPhone I have to say really lives up to its hype for me. So far after a few hours of use I am really amazed by this device. It does so much more than my Treo did and the interface is just beautiful, I would say the best interface Apple has ever created. Easy to use, very, very fast (every time you hit a new button the pages come up right away like butter). It is also so nice and thin, but has a very sturdy feel at the same time. So far there is really nothing that I don't like about the phone, seems like an amazing phone that can do almost anything you would want. The hype on this phone the last 3 weeks has just been crazy, I have watched all of the apple videos online and it does look like a really sweet phone. I am definitely going to pick one up tomorrow (or at least try depending on availability). I just hope there aren't hundreds of people waiting and not a big supply. Anyway it should be a fun experience and a little something different for a Friday afternoon. I have to give it up to Apple's Marketing team. They have done such a great job marketing this new iPhone that I just have to pick one up when they are for sale on Friday. The funny thing is they still haven't released all of the details on the phone yet and haven't released any of the plans that AT&T will even have, but I still want one. This should be an interesting week, I bet there will be plenty of news and hype all week about this phone. They were married yesterday at lake Merrit up in Oakland. It was a beautiful sunny day wtih a nice slight breeze, a perfect day to get married. Happy fathers day to my dad, the #1 dad!!!!! He has always been there for me and is such a blessing. From coaching my tee ball team when I was just a little kid to being the president of the booster club in high school my dad was always involved in my life and I am thankful to have such a great father. I hope that when I have kids I can be a great provider and father just like he is. Even though he isn't the most tech oriented person, he is always trying to learn new things on his computer and I got him to start a blog awhile back. Sorry I haven't been able to post much lately, we have been so busy shooting it's hard to keep up with the blog. There have been so many great weddings and engagement shoots the last week I have to post some photos, but first have to finish processing everything. I tried to finish everything by the end of this week so they could see the images before leaving on their honeymoon, but still have some work to do. Here are a few shots though, have a great Honeymoon guys!!! The guys were a blast to photograph, they all had great personalities and kept the day FUN!  Here is the ceremony, it was all at Wente Vineyards and was a perfect day for a wedding out there:  After the ceremony we walked around with Kari and Tommy for about 30 minutes and were able to photograph at some cool locations around Wente like the Caves and the Vineyard:     I'll post a few more later on. I just saw some of the new iPhone ad's that have been running on TV and really want to get rid of my Treo now and get an iPhone when they come out. I know some of the features like the web I would not even use that much, but the phone just looks so cool. And it would replace my PDA phone and iPod all in one! Apple always does have a way of making me spend too much money when they release something and I don't think I can keep away from the apple store when they release this.
