We are getting caught up with album designs this week. Creating albums can be such a fun artistic way to tie the story of the day together in one nice book. We are working on a few different albums right now but here are some of the last one's we just finished. Also if we shot your wedding awhile back and you never got an album we can still create one for you. Check out our site for more information on Magazine Style Wedding Albums and Graphi StudioWedding Albums.|

Finally it's time to update the blog with some recent weddings, enjoy and feel free to comment on any images.|
a shot of Janice's boquet during the ceremony
dave and janice during the ceremony. The ceremony and wedding was at the
opera house in los gatos.
I loved this dancing shot of them, and took out some of the color to give it
more of a old world, classic look to the shot that I felt matched the opera house
I just loved this shot of Dave hugging Janice after the first dance, they are such a cute couple.
More to come later,

Capturing images of your children at certain stages of their lives can be such an rewarding heirloom to have. While Lisa and I don't have any children of our own yet, I do have the privilege of being able to photograph other people's kids and photograph them at multiple stages of their lives, and it is amazing how much children change from month to month and how you can capture their little personality in the photo's. Some of these personalities and expressions are fleeting and next time you see them they look so different. When I shoot babies and children, my goal is to document a little part of their lives. Instead of just placing the child in a pretty scene, I think it is important to show them interacting with their environment and with their parents to show that emotional connection. A portrait of someone should tell a story of who they are not just show what they look like.|

Last week a few of our prints scored over an 80 to receive an award at
our local PPSCV meeting. (Professional Photographer of the Santa Clara
Valley). If there are any local photographers that read my blog,
we have some pretty good monthly speakers email me and I can send you
when are meetings are.|
I always enjoy entering some of my favorite images into print competition, it is good to hear constructive critisism and praise by your peers. I think it can make anyone no matter how good they are a better photographer by always trying to raise the bar.
The only part I have never liked about entering in prints to a competition is you always have to name the print and I hate naming my work. Even back in Art school I never really named prints that I had in gallery shows, or if I did have to name them I would just pick something that made no sense. For print comp I usually let anyone that is around when I am filling out my form name the print for me.
I think next time I will post my images on the blog here and let everyone out there name my prints for me :)
Anyway, here are a few prints that placed well, thanks to my clients for always making such great models.

Rachael and Raul had a beautiful wedding this weekend up in Reno,|
NV. They were married on a golf course up in Reno and
there was love in the air all day. You could just see the
connection they have every time they looked into each others eye's, such
a cute couple. I will post some images online later this week
once I get a chance to get caught up with everything.
Congratulations guys, your day turned out great.

Dave and Janice were married yesterday at the Opera House in Los Gatos.|
The wedding turned out perfect and everyone had a great time at the reception. To quote Dave, "The drinks are on me tonight" and everyone was loving that :)
It was a great night and I was happy to be a part of it.
Images from the day will be coming soon...

There are so many beautiful locations in the Bay Area to get married
and each has their own unique flavor and style. To
help all of our Brides out there we have created a website that
showcases some of our favorite locations in the area. This is
still a work in progress and we will be continually adding new
locations and adding more photo's and information about the venues
here. If you have any comments about a location please email me
