Here is one more image that I just loved from Abby and Chris wedding. Even though it was raining they were brave and we went for a quick walk in the Vineyard, with all of the beautiful fall colors it was so worth it :)|

Here is a little update on my Thanksgiving Weekend....|
Going into the Thanksgiving holiday I thought I was going to relax and really not do much, but
as usual after 5 minutes of sitting around I get bored and need to get busy, so I ended up working part of the weekend even though I told myself I would take 2 full days off. It felt good to almost get caught up with some weddings and albums and get some other errands done like Christmas shopping.
I did get my Christmas present to myself on Friday and had to open it up right away :) When we were out on Friday morning Toys R Us had wii's in stock and I couldn't resist getting one for myself. I wouldn't consider myself a gamer but growing up in the 80's I do have a bit of nostalgia for Mario. After playing the Wii at a friends house a few weeks ago I had to get one, it really is a fun game and the perfect game to play with friends. I have been battling my wife Lisa at Tennis all weekend and have to say I am the Champ so far :) My sister is the tennis pro in the family but I think I can get my revenge now and beat her at wii tennis.
Also for any of you who have been reading my blog for awhile know that it's a tradition to break out the laptop during the holidays and videotape ourselves with the built in camera acting goofy. This year it happened again and there is some pretty classic footage, watch out for a posting later. I really do love the built in iSight on the apple laptops, we were trying to perk up my 97 year old grandma who was a little blue on Thanksgiving so brought out the computer and crowded around her to sing Christmas songs while taping from the laptop. She gets such a kick out of it and the camera really amazes her. Unfortunately I already used most of my laptop battery working on an album and forgot my plug at home so we only had enough juice for a few songs. Once I get them on You Tube or Google Video i'll link them to my blog.
** Disclaimer for any new clients, don't worry I won't sing at
your wedding, I know my voice is pretty scary and only break it out for family functions :) ***
More to come later.... Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!!!!

Abby and Chris were such a great couple to work with, at the wedding you really could feel the love between the|
two of them it was so magical. As I am going through all of the images there are so many with them that you can just see the joy in their face. We also were able to capture the first time they met before the ceremony and took a little walk down the grape vines at Fogerty Winery (before getting rained on). The rain was worth it though and we captured some cool shots of them in the vineyard, i'll share some more later this week when I get everything finished up.
here is a shot of abby as she was getting ready:

When I work on my wedding images after the wedding the post production of the image is normally done just like I would have in the darkroom back in the day. I will spend a lot of time toning images to give them a very specific feeling or burning and dodging images. Here is a image I was working on today and really wanted a different more graphic feel to it. I really like all of the lines in the city background so made the image more into a line art piece. Let me know what you think:|
Here is the image as I first envisioned it, a little bit desaturated and with a bit of a glow to the image:
and here is a little different version:
Everyone have a great week!
