Yesterday we were able to be a part of the Una Bella Sera event at the brand new Casa Real in Livermore. This is a new venue that was created by the same team that runs the Palm Events Center. I saw the renderings awhile back when everything was being built and knew that it would be fablous just like the Palm Events Center is, but this place is really amazing. Last night the great Crystal Lequang from Amazae Special Events and Nicole Ha Designs put together a really beautiful event. There were some very unique, cool looking designs and the place was decorated so perfect. We also got to see some of our brides for this coming up year (good to see you Catrina, never ran into Nich though) and one of our brides from last year (great to see you Sue). It was so nice to be able to hang out with some of my photographer friends out there and also meet some other vendors that I have heard all about over the past few years but never met face to face. There were some very talented wedding professionals there and we all had a great time. It was a really fun event, i'll post some photos later on. -- Mark Posted 4/29/2008 at 2:10 AM |

I am finally ready to start updating the blog with some recent photos :) Things have been so busy shooting the last few weeks I haven't had time to update with many photos so here is the first of a few updates to come! Amy and Sophal had a beautiful wedding at the Corinthian Center in Downtown San Jose, I really love shooting at this location, there is such a rich feel to the inside of the building and lots of great spots for photos. I really like a few shots we took of them near the end of the night on the stairwell and outside with the columns. I have been working on a great wedding that Joey and I shot out of the Ranch a few weeks ago and it reminded me of the last wedding from the ranch for Peter and Amber. The Ranch is such a great place to have a wedding, I love the architecture there and other details of the buildings. The views are also amazing and a very photogenic golf course (although I never really met a non photogenic course, but The Ranch is really nice) Here is a slideshow from the wedding last year out at the Ranch: I'll post more images from this month in the next few days! -- Mark Posted 4/24/2008 at 10:51 PM |

Amy and Sophal were married a few weeks ago at the Corinthian Center in downtown San Jose. What a perfect wedding day they had! It was a beautiful day and we were able to take lots of great photos around the corinthian center and also the park across the street. The photos are almost ready, I should have some to share soon. -- Mark Bay Area Wedding Photography Posted 4/23/2008 at 11:5 PM |

Sorry for being absent from my blog lately it has been a busy few weeks, the wedding season really kicked into gear this month and we have been busy the last two weeks with two great weddings, a couple engagement shoots, and lots of meeting with brides for weddings at the end of this year and next! On top of all that it was tax time and as usual I waited until the last minute to organize everything and that was a few crazy days of finding receipts and organization. Now I am finally caught up and will be posting some images and updates over the next few days! -- Mark Posted 4/17/2008 at 5:48 PM |

Last night we went over to SC for one of our favorite wedding coordinators Grand Opening of her new space. Couture Celebrations had their Grand Opening last night at their new office space in the Old Sash Mill, if you are getting married in Santa Cruz (or the surrounding area, Carmel, Monterey, Aptos) check out Couture Celebrations, Heidi and Lia are just so sweet, they have a great energy and will take the best care of you on your wedding day. Believe me after seeing hundreds of weddings, having a professional coordinator is well worth it, they will save you so much stress and work so you can just enjoy your day. Congrats on your new space Heidi, it looks great! -- Mark Posted 4/10/2008 at 11:47 AM |

This year is our 9th year in business photographing weddings. I have been thinking about all of the wonderful local wedding venues we have been able to photograph and need to start to write them down so I can remember every place. We have so many great venues in the Bay Area it gives prospective bride and grooms lots of great places to have a wedding. THere is a partial list of some local wedding locations that Stagi Imagery has photographed in California: Posted 4/3/2008 at 11:35 PM |
