We have another great wedding coming up today that I am looking forward to. It will be at the guglielmo winery in Morgan Hill and there are so many great spots around there to photograph at. We also have been having a lot of smoke lately in San Jose from all of the wildfires and I think that Morgan Hill might be the same today, which could result in some awesome images. It has been creating some really wild looking sunsets and just cool lighting so im excited to see what we can create today! This year has been a really good year of weddings so far, lots of very nice couples, great locations and awesome photos. I hope everyone has a great weekend and for all of you with weekends off, enjoy your time with your loved ones and family. I'll post some cool images I have been working on over the weekend! When things tend to get busy I don't remember to blog as much as I would like to, which is a bummer because when I am busy I always have so much to share. I think the main thing for me is just getting into a routine, so I am going to start a new routine and try to blog one post a day for the next month. I'll share more wedding photos, portraits and some fun personal stuff. For all of the cat lovers out there i'll capture some images of our crazy cats :) Also for all of you techies out there you can subscribe to our blog via RSS, here is the link. Lina and Sean were married on Saturday at Crystal Springs Golf Course and had a reception that followed in South San Francisco. Linas family is Italian and before the wedding she told me to be prepared for some good food and she was right! Looks like today is going to be another HOT day! Yesterday was so hot that out AC didn't even make much of a difference. Since our main office room has our computers running 24/7 the room can get hot even on a normal day, yesterday after 3:00 I had to close down early for the day and go to the mall for some cool air. Then a quick jump in our cold pool did the trick to cool me down. Today we are off to a wedding at Crystal Springs Golf Course, I hope we get a good breeze out there so the bride and groom don't overheat. Here are some photos from Alan and Hazels wedding in Monterey. They were such a fun couple, Alan loved hamming it up for the camera and we were able to create some awesome images. There was plenty of time in between the ceremony and reception so we went to a few nice spots for photos (I love this boardwalk that leads up to the beach there, so cool looking for images). Last weekend I photographed Catrina and Nich's wedding at the Martinelli Event Center (Garre Winery) in Livermore. Its a newer location and a great place to have a wedding. Catrina and Nich are such a fun couple and we captured some great photos at the wedding!!! Joey shot Julie and Duc's wedding at Roaring Camp in the Santa Cruz mountains. OK, last post to wrap up our busy weekend. I finished off the weekend on Sunday doing an open house for my wife. When I have the time I like to help her out and now that she is 6 1/2 months pregnant she gets tired after a full day. Anyway I was at an open house all afternoon Sunday and since it was a little slow I got to catch up on some photo editing. The house is a super cute house in blossom valley, its on a quiet court and has been totally upgraded. Anyone looking for a first time house this place is a great value and is in perfect move in condition. New granite countertops, stainless appliances and kitchen cabinets. Saturday we captured Tara and Troys wedding at the Cypress Hotel in Cupertino. The Cypress hotel is a beautiful hotel to get married at, lots of great areas for photography and just a cool hotel. I always get a kick out of the cheetah print and other fun animal prints all over the place. They had a beautiful wedding, the day was just perfect. Everyone had a blast at the reception, Los Gatos DJ did a great job keeping the dance floor full all night long! My wife graduated on Friday from Bible College, it has been such a busy 2 years for her going back to school and still working full time (and this year being pregnant!) I am so proud of her that she finished, it was awesome to see her get her diploma. I also shot the graduation and there were about 150 graduates that we took photos of before and then captured the graduation ceremony so it was a busy Friday to start the weekend off. After the graduation we went out to Bucca for a late night dinner, nothing better than big old plates of Italian food at 10:00pm. I love the food there so many good things to choose from. What a great weekend we had, super busy with a graduation on Friday, Wedding on Saturday and helped out with an open house on Sunday. Mondays are my normal day off so today I am relaxing and will be catching up. I have a bunch of stuff to post a little later on...... Today is time to say goodbye to a great friend, my iPhone. I know, I know its just a phone but over the past year it has been more than a phone. During boring waits at a doctors office I was browsing the web, watching movies, checking email, iPhone was always there for me. When a debate came up at dinner and I needed to prove myself right, iPhone was there to help me search for answers. Congrats Alan and Hazel, your wedding yesterday was beautiful! It was a fun day with lots of laughter! The wedding was at their church in Salinas and then the reception in Monterey at the Naval Postgraduate School. We had some nice time in between the church and reception so were able to go to a park for some photos and then over by the beach, there were a lot of great photo opp's and i'll post some later on. Yesterday kicked off the start of my busy wedding season (It really started being busy in April but starting yesterday, every weekend until November is booked!)
