Mark Stagi of San Jose, Ca, has received special honors in the WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL Awards of Excellence Print Competition. Designed to recognize outstanding wedding & portrait photographers, the event was held in conjunction with WPPI's 25th Anniversary Wedding and Portrait Photography Convention and Trade Show, held April 7-12, 2006.
"Kung Fu Bridal Party" received an Accolade of Excellence in the Bridal Party category. "Young Love" received an Accolade of Excellence in the Engagement category.
Mark Stagi competed against photographers from all over the world to win such honors.
The WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL Awards of Excellence Print Competitions are advancing the art of wedding and portrait photography. The awards are presented each year at the largest trade show, educational platform and convention in the U.S. for Wedding & Portrait Photographers. This year's competition included 2500 print entries in 19 different categories by photographers from all over the world.
